The happiest of Mondays to you all! At agirlandherwool, I’m trying to bring a little more excitement to all of our Mondays by having weekly shop updates. I know Ready to Ship items are in high demand because we all cannot wait to get our fingers on some shiny new yarn. Look out for more regular updates and blog readers will get some special offers as well. Without further ado, here is what will be going into this week’s shop update.

You’ll see later this week that I started a new baby sweater using these colorways. DK weight yarn is a great sweater yarn because:
1. It goes quickly. The craziest thing about knitters is just how eager we are to finish a project. I mean, we just immediately start something new right? What’s the rush?
2. It’s a bit warmer than fingering weight yarn but not too warm that we start sweating while sitting still.

Ignore everything I just said about knitting sweaters with DK yarn. Just kidding, but I do love my new Earnest Cardigan that I knit out of this yarn. As a cardigan, I love the airiness to it so that I can wear this over a shirt and be so comfortable. This sweater gets so many compliments and whatever you knit out of this yarn will too. I guarantee it!
