Lauren originally started agirlandherwool in May 2019. Her desire to open the shop stems from her passion for the fiber arts. She saw it as a way to connect further with the community, while providing a service that she had not seen before.
After growing a successful business and 3+ years of hard work, guided by the ‘any size skein’ philosophy, Lauren made a hard decision to close the business to slow down and reset.
Two and half years later, and never fully gone, agirlandherwool relaunched in mid 2025. This time, we’re taking it slow, enjoying every color, skein and stitch.
