This is the recurring subscription for the Mini Skein Set of the Month club. Each shipment will include a 5 skein set of yarn. When you purchase this club, you will automatically be charged on the 20th of each month for the club. If it is after the 20th, your subscription will start on the 20th of next month with the next month’s club. Orders will ship sometime during the last week of the month. For exact dates, please visit the Shop News page of this website.
When you purchase this club, you will be asked to create an account. Your account will allow you to manage your subscription and recreate your order each month while the subscription is active. You can cancel your subscription at any time. There’s no commitment with this subscription, but it will automatically renew every month on the 20th.
Each set has five skeins in it. You have the option of choosing the size of the skeins but each skein will be of equal size. The colors are based on the month’s photo in this listing. The rest is a mystery!
This listing is for the Sock Base.
The Sock base is a 4 ply fingering weight yarn composed of the following:
75% Superwash Merino Wool
Approximately 463 yards per 100 grams.
The colorway for the upcoming months based off of the photos in the listing. The rest is a mystery.
These mini skein sets will not be released into the shop as regular colorways for at least 3 months, but they may never be released as regular colorways.
The yarn is dyed with acid dyes. All dyes are set and the finished yarn has been washed and rinsed. It is recommended that you presoak the yarn before beginning your project as some excess dye may rinse out. The photos provide an accurate representation of the colors on my screen. Please be aware that not all devices are the same and the yarn you receive could have a slight difference than the image you see on the screen.
For the best care, handwashing is recommended. However, the yarn can be washed in cool water on a gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry.
As with all hand dyed yarn, it is recommended that you alternate skeins. Even with the custom skein sizing, you may need or choose to work with multiple skeins. For knitters, I recommend the helical knitting method to avoid a seam.
